This app is not an official Texas Lottery product or service. All lottery data is obtained from publicly available sources. The Texas Lottery Commission has not reviewed, approved, or endorsed this application or its content.

1A. BUSINESS ENTITY

This application is operated by Lottolabs, LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Texas. References to "we," "us," "our," or "the Company" refer to Lottolabs, LLC.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, subscribe to our services, or contact us for support.

📊 ACCOUNT INFORMATION: Email address, subscription status, payment information (processed securely through Apple/Google)

3. USAGE DATA

We automatically collect certain information when you use our app:

Device information (model, operating system, unique identifiers)
App usage analytics (features used, time spent, crashes)
Location data (only if you grant permission for map features)

6. SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION

Our app offers premium subscription tiers (Silver and Gold) with the following terms:

Subscriptions are billed monthly through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account
Payment is charged to your account upon confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your device's Account Settings after purchase
No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period
If you cancel, you retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period

To manage or cancel your subscription:

iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions

Subscription tiers and pricing are displayed within the app and may be updated from time to time.

7. DATA SECURITY

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

You have the right to:

Access and update your account information
Delete your account and associated data
Opt out of promotional communications
Control location sharing permissions
Request a copy of your data (data portability)

9. LOCATION DATA

Our app may request access to your device's precise location to display your position on the lottery retailer map. This location data is:

Used only to center the map on your current location
Never stored on our servers or databases
Never shared with third parties
Never used for advertising or marketing purposes
Processed locally on your device only
You can deny location access and the app will still function normally

9A. CAMERA ACCESS

📷 Our app may request access to your device's camera to enable the ticket barcode scanning feature. This camera access is:

Used solely for scanning lottery ticket barcodes to retrieve game information
Activated only when you explicitly open the Scanner feature
Never used to capture, store, or transmit photos or images
Never used to access your photo library or saved images
Never used for facial recognition or any biometric data collection
Never used for audio recording, surveillance, or monitoring of any kind
Processed entirely on your device in real-time
Immediately deactivated when you exit the Scanner feature

We do not have access to your device's microphone through this permission. Granting camera access does not provide us with any capability to view, record, or transmit visual or audio content beyond the specific barcode scanning function. You can deny camera access and the app will still function normally; the Scanner feature simply will not be available.

10. APP ACTIVITY TRACKING

To improve your experience and provide personalized features, we track certain activities within the app:

Scan History: Records of lottery games you've viewed or scanned, including timestamps
Favorites: Games you've marked as favorites for quick access
Session Data: Duration of app usage, screens visited, and navigation patterns
User Interactions: Actions taken within the app (searches, filters applied, map interactions)
Feature Usage: Which app features you use most frequently

This activity data is:

Stored securely in our database (AWS DynamoDB)
Used only to enhance your app experience and provide personalized recommendations
Associated with your account (if logged in) or device ID (if using the app anonymously)
Never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes
Deleted within 30 days of account deletion

Gold tier users can view and manage their tracked favorites and scan history within the app.

10A. ADVERTISING & THIRD-PARTY AD SERVICES

Our free and Silver subscription tiers display advertisements served by Google AdMob. To provide relevant ads, AdMob may collect and use certain information:

Device identifiers (advertising ID, device model)
IP address and approximate location
App usage information
Ad interaction data

HOW ADMOB USES THIS DATA:

To serve personalized advertisements
To measure ad performance
To prevent fraud and abuse

We have configured our app to request non-personalized ads only, which limits the data collection and use for ad targeting. However, AdMob may still collect basic device and usage information necessary to serve ads.

⭐ Gold tier subscribers do not see advertisements and are not subject to AdMob data collection.

11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

⚠️ Our service is not intended for anyone under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

12. COOKIES & TRACKING

We use analytics tools and crash reporting services that may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your use of our app. You can control these through your device settings.

13. DATA RETENTION

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where required by law.

14. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your privacy rights.

15. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
